2021 … moving forward! Finally!

WOOOO HOOOO!

As of July 21st. we are now able to fully open and operate the store properly!  We still have some re-organizing to do on the main floor of the store to put everything back to rights but we are functional enough to have more people in the store to shop.  A freak event on June 6th with a broken watermain outside on the road completely submerged our basement with over 5 ft of water and put us 6 weeks behind in being able to serve you properly.

We will continue to maintain our policy of a ‘locked door’ to reduce the risk to customers and allow them to feel safe while shopping.

Masks are mandatory even if you are vaccinated.

We ask for your patience during this trying time!

Just a reminder…. as we have for now over 94 years, we are here to help you with your educational / office supply / school supply / art supply needs!

And don’t forget those special occasions that need a unique gift!

Current hours – Monday to Saturday:  10:30am to 6pm

You can place your orders by phone, email and through Facebook Messenger or Instagram. Delivery available – call to arrange by credit card.

Great to see History survive… I remember many evenings doing homework upstairs when my parents John and Judith Woods used to own this store back in the mid 70’s. How Weston has changed over the years.

    Wishing you continued success!

Thanks Bob for reaching out! I have no information on your parents – didn’t even know their names other than the last name. I actually had a request for information from a Sher Bradbeer who was looking for your family but since I had none, I couldn’t share (not that I would without consent!!). Give me a call – 416-241-5801 – I’d love to get your family history to go with the rest. I know the family who bought from your parents, Milt & Kally Janetakes, but nothing about yours.

      Best,
      Suri @ Squibbs

    • suri says:

      Hi Patricia,
Sorry for delay in answering… we don’t carry any kinds of tapes at this time. Agape Christian Books might though.

      Best,
      Suri @ Squibbs

    Hello!
I am looking for a French book titled
Le Tao des Émotions, 3rd edition in print by Nicole Tremblay. I’ve searched in Quebec but only found it as an ebook. The only one I found was selling for $200!

    • suri says:

Sorry for the delay in responding. We don’t carry French titles unless we are using them as educational texts in high school. Alliance Francais in downtown Toronto has a bookstore and might be able to locate for you. Bonne chance!
